How does the laser work?
The Laser Treatment system kills the fungus living in and under toenails, passing through the toenail to the nail or the surrounding skin without causing any damage to the nail or skin.
What can I expect in the laser specialist’s office?
Upon visiting the laser clinic for nail treatment you can expect a full consultation, the procedure itself, and any follow-up visits the laser treatment office prescribes.
Is the procedure painful?
No. Some feel a slight warming sensation and a very few report a “pinprick”.
Is there a recovery period?
No. The toenail takes time to grow out but when it does, it will be transformed into something clear and healthy looking.
How long does the procedure take?
Each session takes less than 30 minutes. Up to 3 sessions are typically required. The sessions should be spread out 1 month apart.
Will the fungus come back?
There is a small chance of reinfection if the fungus continues to be present in the environment.
